For well over two decades, Angel Flight has been the New York area's premier team of superheroic defenders. That the Angels have an all-female membership says nothing about their effectiveness - very often, they will come up with novel solutions that their male counterparts wouldn't think of.

Membership can be quite fluid, but the current membership includes: Encantida, the Mexican-American magician; Eclipse, Mistress of Shadows; Telestar, the armless telekinetic wonder; Thunderbolt, America's Mightiest Woman; Chill, Queen of Cold; Iris, the pacifist who responds to disasters, and the Atom, the huge-growing native Hawaiian.
