Hello and welcome once again to the sixth exciting installment of Son of Thunder! Well, things are going along here pretty well. Maggie and I saw Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood last night up in Waukegan, and if you think they're funny on TV... ! The show lasted almost three hours and was more than worth every penny! If you get a chance to see them, GO! You won't be disappointed! Yes, I'm still seeing Maggie, which must be some kind of a record. We're going out to my family's for Easter, where they'll meet her for the first time. Pretty much, that's about it. I did get out to San Francisco a few weeks back, but primarily all I did was train doctors. Even missed St. Patrick's Day, though I did get to see my family on Sunday night. So. On to Champions!
I have a little bit of a surprise this time - a story that drops in on one my earliest heroine teams to update them and see how they're handling the 'Oughts. Yes, I said "heroine". The all-female superteam Angel Flight returns to action in "Vengeance of the Ghost" I have a couple more drawings in Americana's Gallery starting with Gallery 9. And it's time for a small handful of Americana stories as well. First, our heroine helps a couple of kids enjoy "Prom Night". Then, a bold new villain makes his debut, and he's got Americana in his sights when he announces that "The Doctor Is In!". Next, Americana has been an opponent of the organization since her very first adventures, but when she attempts to turn the tables on Cyberus, they cry - "Unleash the Dogs of War!" Finally, Americana faces a blaze of incredible proportions - and finds she must enter "The Ring of Fire". Stay safe and stay happy! K.C.
