Welcome to the twentieth pulse-pounding edition of... Son of Thunder! Sounds like everyone's seen The Dark Knight but me. It still looks like fun, but I've been too busy to see it yet. I'll probably see it this week or next and then I'll have to go back through everyone's blogs and see what they said. Speaking of which, I finally joined the blog world - http://kcswordballoons.blogspot.com. Sometimes I can't think of anything to say, and I don't post. Sometimes I do find something to write about - mostly self-important ramblings on life, but occasionally I post something interesting, so check it out sometime. Also, as I write this, the Chicago Cubs are still in first place. Could this really be our year? Or (more likely) will they find a way to blow it? Stay tuned - it's still a long way until October. This is what I have cooked up for this edition of the Clobberin' Times: New pictures are in Angel Flight, Captain Thunder, Four Aces, Enforcers, and Justice Squadron - all of them are located in the Forte Universe section! America's Action Ace has some terrific new artwork to fill out Americana's Art Gallery #20 and start in on Americana's Art Gallery #21. As for stories, well... Jason has picked up the now-mortal Astrea Starr, and as they head back to Washington he learns just what he has gotten himself into. With Silverback on the prowl and Americana powerless, can they find even a little joy on this Morning Drive. The Nighthawks didn't get to rule the streets of the District by sitting on their butts - they've taken as much as they're going to, and mobilize to take the battle to Silverback - An Army Versus One! A reporter claims he knows who Americana really is - and he's going to deliver her up on live television! And heaven help us, but he does succeed in Delivering Up Americana! This. Is. It. The all-out final battle between Silverback and Americana! And we mean final! America's Mightiest Girl fights the snarling ape-man in a total Gorilla War!. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the summer! K.C.
